Rosie Rain ~ Ramdeep Kaur is a certified kundalini yoga teacher through the Kundalini Research Institute since 2011, and is also a member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association. Rosie has studied Iyengar-based hatha yoga and ayurveda with the Kanyakumari Ayurvedic Education and Retreat Center (class of 2008), and in 2012 became certified in prenatal yoga and Street Yoga (for survivors of trauma, abuse, torture, addiction, and homelessness). As a former preschool teacher, Rosie is also an experienced registered children's yoga teacher. With a passion for making yoga accessible to everyone, Rosie especially enjoys teaching meditative chair yoga for memory care and also for people with limited physical mobility such as elders, cancer patients, and people with Parkinson's. In 2021 Rosie completed her 500 hr kundalini yoga training with Ravi Singh, her long time favorite kundalini teacher, an original student of Yogi Bhajan.

When we choose awareness and presence, we are living yoga, thus our practice is in the way we breathe each breath. Through focus on the breath we become aware of our posture and ultimately open more fully to the breath. As we create more space in the body for breath, we become aware of the relationship between body, breath, mind, and Spirit. As we align our physical body we also align ourselves with the healing gift of the breath and with our higher purpose, and our awareness expands. Each moment, each breath is an opportunity to get to know yourself and to strengthen all of the connections among the different aspects of the self to become fully integrated, balanced, and healed whole and complete. Yoga is relationship, yoga is connection.

Each moment is yoga whether we are aware of it or not, and yet at the same time we can turn each moment to our advantage by CONSCIOUSLY turning each moment into yoga.
A profound transformation occurs every single time you choose yoga, every single time you choose balance in your life. From my perspective, all healing modalities are yoga, as well as all aspects of life and all of existence which can be consciously experienced as yoga/perfect balance/perfect peace.

This is gentle meditative yoga for energy balancing. As an instrument of the Divine, it is important to take the time to tune ourselves just like we would do with any other instrument. This intuitively guided essential yoga practice is an “improvisational flow from the heart,” a listening to what we need today/in this moment to come into balance and raise our vibration. At times a meditative vinyasa, other times cultivating stillness in gentle nurturing postures, this is a dynamic blend of several different styles of yoga and healing practices which follow the flow of life force energy to maximize the health benefits attainable within the time frame of a short class for full body/mind/Spirit opening, toning and strengthening, integration and healing.
Now available as a private session only, learn the foundations of yoga through playful interactive music and movement circle, drumming the way we feel, sharing stories, fun with puppets, a brief music lesson and meditation, breathing exercises, and sound/energy healing relaxation. Welcome beginners! Learn the foundations of yoga from the ground up, including sacred postures (asanas) with proper breath and alignment, cultivating awareness and presence through meditative practice. Connecting with and projecting the voice of your Soul is the goal. :) “Spiritual Voice Lessons,” as Rosie calls them, these naad yoga sessions are focused on energy healing through sacred sound, including chanting mantra and sound healing with Venus gong and other musical instruments. We will develop voice strength and range with energy healing and vocal exercises. Basic yoga grounding and pranayama energy clearing warm ups are included as part of this class. Interactive music and meditative movement for people with memory loss with or without their care partners. This can be done on the floor using a mat or seated in a chair to accommodate physical limitations. Yoga regenerates brain cells, improves cognitive functioning and coordination, alleviates anxiety. Care partners participate for free. This fun and relaxing class is offered by holistic memory care specialist and experienced yoga teacher/musician Rosie Rain as a private session only and can be purchased for $70 in the “Purchase” portion of this website. BYOB is available as a private session or party only. Bring your own baby, bring your own breast milk! Lol :) This is gentle yoga focused on bonding with your infant, either one on one or in the company of other moms and their babies. Relaxed playgroup atmosphere, siblings welcome. This class will strengthen and inspire you as well as prepare you for birth physically and spiritually. Relax into the Divine Feminine that you are! This is meditative, gentle yoga safe for all stages of pregnancy, led by experienced, certified prenatal yoga teacher Rosie Rain. Rosie gave birth to all three of her children in water at home in a state of yoga and she attributes her easy birthing experiences to her prenatal yoga practice. Usually scheduled around the new moon or full moon, each gathering is an opportunity for empowerment and spiritual connection, in a supportive circle of Divine feminine love.
